Truman Jones was born in Elk City, Oklahoma.  He married Nona, a Methodist preacher’s daughter.  They moved to Lancaster, California and had a son named Renny.  Truman worked at a variety of jobs including being a fireman, school bus driver, and delivering bread. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and driving his Ford truck.  He was very independent and lived by himself in his own house until his death at 94 years old.  Faith Bible Church was a big part of his life.  The church was started 47 years earlier in his home.  Nona and he were active in building the church.  Truman will be missed by all, but his passion for God and his example of Christian living will always be an encouragement to those who follow in his foot steps.
